ADORE — Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the ADORE app. By using ADORE you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

1. Eligibility (18+)

You must be at least 18 years old to use ADORE. By using the app you represent that you are 18 or older. We may terminate accounts that we believe belong to minors.

2. What ADORE is

ADORE provides AI-generated fictional characters for entertainment and companionship. The characters are not real people and their messages are computer-generated. ADORE is not a substitute for a human relationship, and not a provider of medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice. Do not rely on it for any such purpose.

3. Crisis & safety

If you express thoughts of self-harm or are in crisis, the app will break character and provide crisis resources. This is not emergency care — if you are in danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis line (US: call/text 988). You agree not to use ADORE to produce or solicit illegal content, content sexualizing minors, or content that harasses or harms others.

4. Subscriptions, trial & billing

• ADORE offers auto-renewing subscriptions (weekly, annual) and a one-time lifetime option, with a 1-day free trial where offered.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• If you don't cancel during the free trial, it converts to a paid subscription at the displayed price.
• Prices are shown in-app and may vary by region. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or abuse the service; attempt to extract another user's data; use the app for any unlawful purpose; or misrepresent your age. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Your content & intellectual property

You retain your messages. You grant us a limited licence to process them to operate the service (including AI generation and memory). The app, personas, imagery, and software are owned by RARITY and protected by IP laws; don't copy or redistribute them.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is," without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RARITY is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior 12 months.

8. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to comply with law.

9. Changes & governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be surfaced in the app. The governing law and dispute venue will be the jurisdiction of RARITY's registered entity (to be finalized before public launch).
